walking with dinosaurs

For once we got extremely lucky. Someone in my office won VIP tickets to a show called 'Walking with dinosaurs' and didn't want to go so he gave them to me. I had never heard of the show, but evidently it is based on a British TV show called 'Walking with dinosaurs'. (Eric and Jenni , maybe you have heard about it?) It is supposed to be an educational show where children learn about dinosaurs and so to speak, walk in the footsteps of dinosaurs.

As was to be expected, Monty did some freaking out when it came time to enter the expo center where the show was held. The sound effects and pictures alone scared him half to death, so Leland had to carry him to our seat.
And our seats were excellent I might ad. We were so close to the podium that Stoney remarked we would get hit by the T-Rex's tale if we didn't watch out.

It was a marvelous show. There was almost real looking gigantic dinosaurs. All of them motorized and remote controlled. More then half of the pictures we took turned out blurry or too dark, but we got a some decent ones

There were Allosauruses, Stegosauruses, Torrosaurus, Raptors, T-Rex and some other ones that we are not sure about what they were.

I tell you, there is nothing quite like having a dinosaur growling right above your head!

Some pictures after the show:

Monty is clearly over his fears: strike a pose!
