a nice week

Well, we had a NICE week. In other words, no fun and witty comments on this week's blog. The week was nice most of all because i got finally word from the company that i work for that i can stay when my current contract ends. I signed the new contract on wednesday and i must say that i am very, very gratefull for this security while Leland is still looking for a job.

It was also a nice week because we have finally been enjoying some nicer weather so we could actually play out in the yard. As you can see in the pictures, everything is still bare (except the primroses Leland planted). But if you look very, very closely, you can see that the rosebush is starting to get some tiney new leaves and that means, spring is finally coming. I don't know why, but it seems like i have never looked forward to spring as much as this year.

Leland saw a little kid's golf club set in the store and couldn't resist. (He really wishes he had his own clubs here) The boys had their first lessons in golf. (not that they were very keen on taking advice from their Daddy..)
