Wow, where did time go? He just turned five.
My little boy is getting so big! (now if he started acting like a five year old as well - instead of a two year old- that would be good).
We did his birthday party on Wednesday afternoon (they always have just half a day of school on Wednesday). We didn't have a lot of kids there, and they weren't that interested in any of the games I had planned on doing, but hey, they had a good time.
His actual birthday was on Friday, and Oma, Opa and uncle Marijn came over.
Monty got a castle for his birthday and the boys had a great time playing with it.
Because we had a party on Wednesday and on Friday, Monty had two cakes! The one on Friday was a caterpiller one. Which he apparently had some doubts about - notice the look in his eyes!
Luck would have it, that May 1st is a national holiday in Belgium, so we all had the day off. The weather was great too, so we had a really enjoyable day.

I loved the cake...but it is obvious that Monty is not so sure...oh well. Also, I loved your last post about "what the heck and holy cow" I just laughed and laughed!
Wow, he is 5? So any new kids for the future? The cakes are really cute, did you make them? If so, I am very impressed!!!
No Hyde, i didn't make the cakes... I should, but i never have the time. And for more kids... we are not sure what the future will bring. ;-)
